About Me
I have a broad and varied background in leadership and management, including a career in the military, time as a change management consultant, and as a small charity CEO.
This varied experience has given me a uniquely broad range of knowledge and skills that I bring to every charity I work with.
Most importantly, I have experience of being in the hot seat. As a former small charity CEO myself, I know what it's like to try and spin 20 different plates at once while producing results out of thin air! I always start from a place of empathy with my work and seek to understand people and their needs on a meaningful level before work begins.

My Approach
My approach is always to combine my wide range of knowledge and experience with the unique requirements of each charity I work with.
No two charities are the same and it is so important to start by understanding what the organisation and its people need. Most charities are very lean organisations and don't have lots of extra capacity, so I always strive to make my work as easy as possible on those who might be affected.
As a former CEO, I know what it's like to work with consultants who cut and paste from their previous client's projects. It's lazy, it sticks out like a sore thumb and it undermines trust. I provide a bespoke and detailed service to every single charity I work for, and I'm proud of my record of doing so.
